Faith • Service • Leadership • Friendship
American Heritage Girls at Northside Church of Christ provides a Christ-centered environment where girls can grow in faith, character, leadership, friendship, and service.
Through hands-on activities, outdoor adventures, badge work, service projects, and biblical encouragement, girls have opportunities to discover their gifts, build confidence, and develop lifelong friendships.
Our goal is to help girls grow into women who love God, serve others, and live with courage and integrity.
Everything we do is grounded in a biblical worldview and a desire to help girls know God, understand His Word, and live out their faith in everyday life.
Through relationships with caring Christian women, girls are encouraged to grow spiritually while developing confidence, compassion, responsibility, and leadership.
Girls experience outdoor activities, special events, trips, challenges, and hands-on learning that build confidence and create lasting memories.
Girls develop practical skills, work toward achievements, discover their strengths, and learn how to lead and serve others.
Biblical principles are woven throughout the program as girls learn to love God, serve others, make wise choices, and live with integrity.
American Heritage Girls serves girls from kindergarten through high school with age-appropriate experiences designed to help them grow at every stage.

Throughout the year, girls participate in service projects, outdoor activities, badge work, special events, field trips, and opportunities to build friendships outside regular troop meetings.
Girls learn best when they have opportunities to put faith and character into action. Through service, adventure, friendship, and hands-on experiences, American Heritage Girls helps girls discover that following Christ touches every part of life.
American Heritage Girls gives mothers and other godly women opportunities to invest in the lives of girls through encouragement, mentorship, teaching, service, and shared experiences.
You don't have to be an expert in every activity. You simply need a willingness to serve, encourage, and walk alongside girls as they grow.
Those relationships can make a lasting difference.
Girls gather with their unit, build friendships, and begin the meeting together.
Girls work on badges, practical skills, projects, leadership development, and hands-on learning.
Biblical truth and Christian character are woven throughout the program.
Games, service projects, special activities, and teamwork make meetings both meaningful and fun.
Service helps girls look beyond themselves and recognize the needs of others.
Throughout the year, our girls have opportunities to serve our church, our community, and others in meaningful ways while learning compassion, responsibility, and generosity.
We want girls to understand that leadership isn't simply about being in charge—it's about using what God has given us to bless others.
American Heritage Girls encourages girls to become women of integrity who honor God, cherish their families, serve their communities, and make wise choices grounded in biblical truth.
Our desire is that the friendships, skills, lessons, and experiences girls gain today will continue shaping their lives for years to come.
No. American Heritage Girls is open to families in our community. You do not have to be a member of Northside to visit or become involved.
Absolutely! Visiting a meeting is one of the best ways to meet our families, see the program in action, and decide whether AHG is a good fit for your daughter.
Not at all. Girls learn and grow as they participate. No previous outdoor, leadership, or badge experience is necessary.
Parent involvement is encouraged, and there are many ways mothers and other women can serve. We understand that every family's situation is different, so we'd be happy to talk with you about opportunities to participate.
Just bring your daughter and come ready to meet the troop. We'll help you with everything else you need to know.
American Heritage Girls has annual membership and troop-related costs. Contact us for current registration information, and we'll be happy to explain everything before you join.
The best way to learn about American Heritage Girls is to experience it.
Bring your daughter to a meeting, meet our leaders and families, and see how faith, friendship, service, and adventure come together.
We'd love to welcome your family.
